What ePayhub is and what you can do with it.

What is ePayhub and how is it useful?

ePayhub is a payments platform that lets anyone pay anyone for anything — your everyday bills, and the people and institutions you owe — from one place, using the payment method that suits you.

Utility bill payments and the payments marketplace are live today through BBPS — electricity, gas, DTH, FASTag, broadband, insurance and more. Our cobrand prepaid wallet and gift vouchers are on the way.

Can I pay anyone for anything?

That is the idea behind ePayhub — a platform that lets anyone pay anyone for anything, including with a credit card.

Society maintenance, education expenses, utility service providers, suppliers, vendors and contractors are the payments people use it for most often.

What type of payments can I make?

Electricity, water, piped and cylinder gas, broadband and landline, mobile recharge, DTH, FASTag, municipal tax, insurance premiums, education fees and loan repayments — all through the BBPS network.

Beyond bills, ePayhub covers society maintenance, school and college fees, contractor and professional charges, salary payments, and supplier or vendor invoices.

Does the biller need to be registered with ePayhub?

No. We connect to billers through BBPS, so any biller already live on the BBPS network can be paid from ePayhub without them signing up with us.

Does the merchant or receiving party have to be an ePayhub user?

No. It is not mandatory for both the sender and the receiver to be ePayhub customers. The money reaches the beneficiary the usual way, whether or not they have an account with us.

Does the biller or beneficiary pay any fee?

No. The biller receives the full bill amount and a beneficiary gets the money into their bank account without a single rupee deducted.

Any convenience fee is charged to you and shown up front before you confirm the payment.

Signup & KYC

Creating your account and completing verification.

Why am I asked to submit KYC, and is it mandatory?

Yes, it is mandatory. We are required to know who our customers are, and KYC is simply how we confirm who is transacting on the platform — there is nothing to worry about.

It is a one-time process and your documents are stored securely. Once verified, you can keep paying bills without submitting anything again.

Do you report all my transactions to the IT department?

No. KYC exists so that official banking channels are not used for the wrong purposes. We share information only where the law requires us to.

How long does verification take?

Most accounts are verified within a few minutes. If a document needs a manual review, our team completes it within one business day and we notify you in the app.

Payments

Making a payment and tracking what happens next.

What type of cards are accepted?

All Visa, MasterCard and RuPay credit cards issued in India are accepted.

What can I pay with my credit card?

Society maintenance, school and college fees, utility service providers, contractor payments, professional charges, salary payments and supplier or vendor invoices — along with every BBPS bill category.

The money reaches the receiver's bank account, so they do not need to accept cards or sign up anywhere.

How soon does my payment reach the biller?

Most BBPS payments are confirmed instantly and the biller updates your account within a few minutes. A few billers settle in batches and can take up to 24 hours to reflect.

What happens if a payment fails?

If the amount was debited but the bill was not paid, the money is returned to the source account. Bank refunds usually land within three to five working days.

You can track the status of every payment under Transactions, and raise a complaint from the same screen if something looks wrong.

Where can I see my past bill payments?

Open Transactions in your account for the full history, including the BBPS reference number for each payment. Receipts can be downloaded any time.

Charges

What a payment costs and how it is shown.

Is it free to use ePayhub?

Creating an account is free. We charge a small percentage as a convenience fee on some payment methods, and it is always displayed before you confirm. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.

Who pays the convenience fee?

You do, and only when the payment method you choose carries one. The biller, merchant or beneficiary never pays anything — they receive the full amount.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. The amount you see on the confirmation screen is the amount that gets debited — bill amount plus the convenience fee, if any.

Safety & security

How we protect your money and your data.

Is it safe to pay my bills on ePayhub?

Yes. Payments run over the BBPS network operated by NPCI, and every transaction carries a reference number you can verify with your biller.

Read more on our Is it safe page.

Do you store my card details?

Card data is handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partners. We do not store your full card number or CVV on our servers.

How do I report a suspicious transaction?

Write to h‌e‌l‌p‌@‌e‌p‌a‌y‌h‌u‌b‌.‌i‌n or raise a complaint from the Transactions screen with the reference number. We respond within one business day.
